Paris International Cooking School

If you are coming from overseas or out of town, and interested in cooking, we have a special programme designed for visitors to Sydney.

Sydney Tour Programme (duration: 1 week)

Day 1 (Sunday):
Arrive at Sydney International Airport (or Central Train Station).
Pick up from airport (or train station) and transfer to Mercure Central Hotel, Rydges Camperdown Hotel or selected hotel.

Evening free to relax after the long flight / train from your departure point! Getting ready for a busy week ahead (A Red Weekly “Travel Ticket” will be issued to all participants, as well as information & map.)

Day 2 (Monday):
Pick up at your hotel (8.30 AM “Mercure” / 8.45 AM “Rydges”)
Welcome breakfast at the school (9 AM to 10 AM)
Native Australian Cooking Demonstration (Menu 1)
6 courses lunch (10 AM to 2 PM) at La Péniche Restaurant.

Afternoon free + Dinner
Optional: Afternoon Harbour Cruise or New South Wales Gallery or Opera House Guided Visit.

Dinner at Bennelong Restaurant (Opera House Restaurant)

Day 3 (Tuesday):
Hotel Pick Up (5.30 AM “Mercure” & 5.40 AM (Rydges) + Early breakfast at the school &
Tour of Sydney Markets & Specialties Shops (from 6 AM until about 2 PM) include Breakfast, Morning
Tea, Cooking Demonstration & 2 courses Lunch at La Péniche Restaurant.

Afternoon Free + Dinner
Optional: Visit of the Rocks or Museum of Contemporary Art or Sydney Town Hall.
Dinner at Rockpool Restaurant (in the Rocks) or Theatre evening.

Day 4 (Wednesday):
Native Australian Cooking Demonstration (Menu 2)
6 courses lunch (10 AM to 2 PM) at La Péniche Restaurant

Afternoon Free + Dinner
Optional: Visit of the Sydney Taronga Zoo or Museum of Sydney
Dinner at Banc Restaurant (Surry Hills) or Evening at the Sydney Casino.

Day 5 (Thursday):
Practical Hospitality Cooking Class (9 AM to 3.30 PM).
Include 5 courses lunch at La Péniche Restaurant.

Evening Free
Optional: Harbour Walk Bridge Climb or Visit of Sydney Botanical Garden.
Dinner at MG Garage (Surry Hills) or Theatre Evening.

Day 6 (Friday):
Native Australian Cooking Demonstration (Menu 3)
6 courses lunch (10 AM to 2.00 PM) at La Péniche Restaurant.

Practical Hospitality Cooking Class (3 PM to 9.30 PM).
Include 5 courses dinner at La Péniche Restaurant.

Day 7 (Saturday):
Practical Cooking Class (11.30 AM to 2.00 PM)
Include 3 courses lunch at La Péniche Restaurant.

Practical Hospitality Cooking Class (3 PM to 9.30 PM).
Include 5 courses Dinner at La Péniche Restaurant.

Day 8 (Sunday)
Practical Cooking Workshop a the school from 9 AM until 2 PM *
Include 6 courses lunch at La Péniche Restaurant.
(* If time permits, depending on the departure time.)

Return to your hotel and transport from hotel to Airport or train station.

Also included in cost of the TOUR are:
All printed recipes for cooking demonstration and practical classes.
Use of a “kitchen hand” for all washing-up & cleaning duties.
Free School Apron to every participant. (a nice souvenir).
Recipe Folder / Name Badge / “Course” Completion Certificate.
Selection of Native Australian *Ingredients (*spices) / Souvenir Hand Made-Chocolate.

The cost for all listed activities (classes/tour/meals/souvenirs/taxes) is AU $900.00.

Accommodations and “Optional” activities are not included in the fee. Most ‘optional’ activities will be booked and paid for at the venues. All drinks consumed at the school will be extra.

We can arrange different hotels or accommodations.

We do not charge extra during busy seasons.
The tours are available all year round (but not available during Australian school holidays).
